Trophy eye and crappie wanted

Please provide me with all of your hots spots and make sure the GPS information is provided. If you would like me to just use your house, let me know where you hide the key...and please leave some beer for me. It would be nice to leave it heated so when I get there it is nice and warm to but I can start the heater up myself as long as you have filled the propane. The lantern to. Thanks in advance and I look forward to catching the fish you have put me on. He he he! Seriously, how has everyone done this year. I have had terrible luck in this area and I am wondering if it is just me or everyone else has found it to be a tough year? I hope to try a couple new spots this weekend so maybe things will turn for better. Hope you all are doing better than me...good luck and catch the big one!

it has been a tougher bite so far especially for any decent sized crappies. I spent 6 hours yesterday chasing them on a lake near Swanville and just couldn't catch up with any. Last year was great on the same lake. Lots of catch and release. Two Rivers provided some action last Sunday, nothing big but at least the bobber was going down. Bill

Did well early season, on New Years eve I fished a tourny where I caught my limit of eyes with a 3.5# that took 3rd place. After that the bite was tough. Tonight I went out with my boy and we picked up a 33 & 27" pike, 14" eye and a dozen keeper gills all in the same spot. Finally things are looking up.

Well I did well on crappies till the past two weeks. Tryinbg to figure out a local lake instead of hitting my usualy hotspots. Have found them. Now I have to get then to do something besides stare at my offerings.

Oh well. Besides catching fish I really enjoy trying to find the key to unlocking their jaws.

It does seem that they've had an unusual amount of lock jaw this season.

Well I unlocked an unreal number of jaws today. Although it was on a different(secret)lake. I must of caught close to 200 crappies this afternoon. Only downer was the size(most were 5-7"). Did scrounge out a limit of decent ones though.

It has been a tougher year for me too.Ive had good walleye bites where eater sized eyes were caught almost consistetly and times where the biggest fish was 10".Panfish have been tricky too,I have found fish that would hold and be aggresive,but for the most part they've been roaming and hole hopping I could barely keep up with them.
