Two Rivers Lake

Recommended Posts

Wondering if anyone has had any luck catching crappies over the last couple of days? I'm heading over there tomorrow to give it a try. Any tips would be appreciated, thanks. Stay warm everyone!

I haven't been out lately. I heard the bite has tapered off since the cold weather. You can check out Two River Report as far as where to go on the lake. The bite should pick up when the weather stabilizes.

Good Fishing!

Masses of people and like Tour Pro stated very few fish lately. All reports I have heard have been bad. Too much activity with all the houses plus the weather make for a bad combination. When lakes get crowded I go elsewhere. Good luck!!!

Was out to Two Rivers 530am this morning. Beautiful morning with the snow falling. Haven't been on the lake in 25 years. Two of us managed 11 crappies in 22' of water. Lots of lookers. Nothing overly large 8"-9". Fished until 1030am. Bill

Was also out today from 1pm - 6:30 pm. Ended up with 6 little crappies. Screen was full all afternoon with no bites until about 5:00. Noticed the water has really gotten dirty in the last couple weeks. Went from fairly clear to mucky brown and clumps of algea floating up the holes. Is this do to the dying of the vegatation or the lack of light from the snow? I think its time to go back to the portables and find some more active fish. Possibly on some other nearby lakes.

I agree with you on the water clarity. Things were really riled up early AM as well. Who plows the road from the west access to the first group of houses? Normally you don't see that on smaller lakes like this. Much appreciated at 530am. Bill

I plan on trying Two Rivers this weekend. I have never used the north access. Being it is supposedly just a cow trail is it still accessible with all the snow we have had. Thanks, LaVoi

I'll be out that way tomorrow. I'll post late tomorrow night and let you know.

Was out yesterday from 9-3pm and then from 5-7pm. Caught 5 nice crappies all day in 24 ft of water plus a gaggle of pesky perch with one being big enough to filet. Missed plenty of fish with your bobber barely moving frown.gif The water clarity is getting much worse. I took the access on the north end that is not a bad drive. There is a pressure ridge when you get on the lake so be carefull. I would recommend travel on the lake to 4 wheel drive. The evening bite was dreadfull. I had to try. I was happy with a meal smile.gif
