Ice Conditions for Horseshoe

Just wondering if most people are driving trucks out onto the Horseshoe chain. Last time I was out their was 1/3/04 and there was about 12 inches of ice. Been skiing in Big Sky, MT, looking to get out on Saturday. Hows the fishing been?

Ice is around, 13-16 inches, they are driveing full size vehicles out. If your familiar with the chain then you know where to drive if not be carefull as the chain is a river system and it does have bad areas.

As far as fishing the eyes and cats are biteing about average, panfish have been going good if you know where to look. The panny's have been moveing alot but if you can stay with a school you will find action.
