Koronis Reports

Any reports from Koronis lately? We had some luck out there earlier in the year and have not been back in about 3 weeks. i was just wondering if anyone has been having any luck out there. Any reports would be appreciated!

The fish are there the guys I know who are sight fishing them are seeing them, its just getting them to bite has been the trick.I think a little snow would help the problem.

Trying deep water might be the answer but fish mortality becomes a issue then. I would try the rock shoal off of 3rd island, this spot has a nice rock finger that juts out to deep water. This allows you to try shallow with deep water nearby.

I am going to get out there again soon. Was out last week and caught a bunch of little eyes, and some perch. Is that park access on the south side a place to drive on or is the only way to third island from that access on the north side? I always use that north access and fish structure on the north side also. looking for another spot, any info would be great. Thanks

I think ou may be right Ice Hawk. The last time we were out there we were fishing in anywhere from 12 to 24 feet of water. We could see the fish come in and look at the bait for a little while before swimming away. We did get a couple of takers on the set lines, but the majority of the fish we saw would take a look and then just swim away. The fish are definately there, I have to believe that they will turn on sometime. Thanks for the reports!!
