Night Bites

Hello, all- I was wondering if anyone has been having any luck in the later evening hours- I have a young son, and love to hang out with him and his mother, but when he goes to bed at 8:00, I'm free to fish. I've been going to Koronis, and have caught quite a few walleyes, but the size has been dismal. 11 inches has been the biggest, and I've pulled over 25 fish out over the last week or so. I fish for sport, and only rarely keep enough for a meal,(I don't like fish after it's been frozen), so I won't be depleting anyone's lake. Any insight would be great!

Fitchwolf-The crappie bite on Cedar Island has been a late bite as of late. The other nite my buddy and I fished until about 11 PM. We were still catching crappies when we decided to pack it up. I would say we caught and released about 50 that nite. The best bite usually ends about 6-6:30 or so, but you can usually pick up fish all night if you know what you are doing. I know on Eden the bite has been an early bite usually done by 5.ScottS

Thanks a bunch, Scott-I'll give it a try. Have you been seeing any walleye out there? (Aside from the monster you pulled out of Horeshoe-Nice!)
