I here there is some fishing going on there, just wondering what there is for ice thickness/snowcover, what depths work best. thanks

There are walleyes to be has on Big Pine, but the ice conditions there are the worst they've ever been. There is still open water just south of the Grand View Heights access, and there are several heaves/cracks that will eat up your 4-wheeler if you get too close. If you do go to Big Pine, be EXTREMELY careful. At least 4 fish houses have gone down in Big Pine this year.
