Woo Hoo! Finally some decent weather. What a great day of fishing. Catching fish was not a problem, a lot of the 11-13 inch walleye being caught. Finding keeper sized fish was a bigger of a worry. Drifting in 9-10 feet of water pulling spinners with minnows was the key. The fish seemed to be scattered, it was never worth remaking a drift. It was a fun day pulling in fish no matter the size without needing winter jackets or gloves. Lets hope the weather holds! How did everyone else do? Anyone get into some bigger action?
[This message has been edited by fishingfrenzy (edited 06-29-2004).]

The troller works great. Just let me know when you want that free guided tour or whatever else you decide on grin.gif I'll try get those picts tomorrow...
Anyways another great day on the big pond. Smaller fish were hitting hard in the 11-12 range with more decent fish out around 14 feet. Minnows with spinners were the key for the second straight day. 4:00-7:00 had the best bite, with fishing turned off around 8:30pm. A lot of sauger mixed in with the walleye. Hopefully tomorrow will be another good day.
FF

Thursday 4:30pm-8:30pm report
Well another very good day of fishing on the lake. Still consistant on the south shore. 10-12 foot range still coughing up many smaller fish. 13 inch and smaller dominated the day, we threw those back for the next few years. Spinners and minnows once again were the fish favorite. The more quality fish seemed to be deeper and were also hitting the reefs hard. Well, another fun day on the pond.
FF
[This message has been edited by fishingfrenzy (edited 07-01-2004).]
