now that the ice season is about over, was curious as to what people thought was the best place to stay; and the best place on the lake to fish.<P>O

opsirc: I have stayed at Riverbend for the past 4 years due to the recommendation of one of my clients. If you've had the chance to follow this Forum this winter you will note a lot of good reports from many of the resorts in the area. Our primary area of fishing is past Pine Island but as I read the reports there was some good action in areas like Zippel Bay, Long Point, out of Arnesons on the reefs as well as the Angle. Even though I wasn't able to fish all of the area's the reports I found invaluable as to the techniques and tackle that were being used. Hope you have a chance to fish the lake and find success. Our favorite place is Walsh's Baystore Camp. We have fished the south shore and stayed at different resorts there and also have tried other resorts in the angle. We give Baystore camp a two thumbs up!!! Also have had our best fishing in the Angle.
