Lost lake Walleyes

does anyone know where the hot spots on lost lake are? I was up there yesterday and we fished for 4 straight hours without a bite and we talked to some guys at the boat landing and they had some decent walleyes. where are they fish biting at this lake and on what?!

Hi Chase,
Whe I had time to fish lakes other than Vermilion We used to fish lost lake during July and August.
We got most of our fish on the North West side of the lake in the late evenings.
We fished with slip bobbers and leeches right next to the floating bog and stumps. The fish would bite and pull the bobbers right under the floating bog !!
They were usually 2 to 3 pound fish too!
We also got some fish pulling gold spinner/leech rigs or spinner/crawler rigs in the early mornings or evenings.
Good fishing.
