Went to morris point of friday and did bad... only landed 3... switched around every kind of lure I could think of... they were there but they would not bit....<BR>but.. we ventured out ot garden island on saturday.. we were the only ones there for most of the day then another guy came.... oh.. if you go out there becareful of the ice ridge.. we busted it up on the way ou there and ended up finding another hole to go back throuhg... becareful.. but anyways.. we cought a few nice perch and a couple of walleyes.... AND... a 17lb pike.... fought it for about 10 minutes... was going ot release it but the fish was tired and would not go back down the hole so we kept it and I think it is going on the wall.... we were in about 26ft of water none the less... aobut 100 yards off the sunkin point... cought it off the wonderful glow devils I bought off this site....Thanks FM for getting me a wall mounter!!!

Congrats on the pike Ethan. We were up over the weekend and took sleds out and about. We hit several areas on the way to Garden but never quite made it to Garden. We found very few fish on the vex and even fewer to bite. Tried all sorts of depths from 18' to 36'. It was a fun adventure that unfortunately did not produce fish for us. Can't wait until next time.
