A group of us go up every year and stay at Bayview. Rodney is great and always puts us on fish. The cabins are clean and comfortable and the fishcleaning shack is close. There isn't a walking distance bar, but there are several not far away. The Wigwam on the shore of the lake is always popular. We're headed up on the 5th. Maybe we'll cross paths.
------------------
Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati (When all else fails, play dead)

I have stayed there once last year and was very happy. The group I go up with stayed once this year and we will be going up in March. The price is right and we always stop at the bait shop which is on the way to the lake. This is our 1st. choice when headed to Lake of the Woods.

2 of us were up there in jan. but we did not stay there. we just rented a house and stayed in town. The service was great the houses are nice and we caught fish. Im heading up tomorrow for the weekend and were going out of bayview again. Still staying in baudete. The Closest bar is wigwam which is nice and service is good. Its about 6 miles from bayview. Good luck and have fun.
