I heard that crank baits can work for eyes around open water during the winter. I have been trying around some north Moorhead dams, nothing but a few Pike, any suggestions?

Keep plugging away, in time they will come. The days are longer and they will soon start to probe the dams again.

One evening may be good, the next 6 poor, need to keep at it is all.

Slow cranks or jigs would be a plan.

(TIP) Try Gold #9 or #11 Husky Jerk, or a Gold S-A-L-M-O Sting SA-9.

VERY.......SLOW!

Good hunting!
