WEll it sounds like it is a hit and miss up there now, not like last year when we went at this time..... we nailed them every where we went... just kinda curious on your point of view on where to go out of. We plan on bringing the sleds this time and kinda are hoping to go out to 16 and maybe 12 but it don't sound like they are killing them... and info guys? We leave on the 27th of this month... I heard morris point is doing ok... is that a rumor?

If you have sleds for travel get off the beaten track and maybe head out to the rocks around Knight/Bridges. Have a rockpile all to yourseld instead of being surrounded by the masses!!!<P>Regards....fiskyknut

Caught the biggest walleye I've ever seen, or caught for that matter. Was fishing out of LP in 30 feet. Took some pics and released her. We estimated the weight at 11+ lbs. I've caught plenty of 8 and 9 lbers before, but never one this size. Bring the sleds, we tried using 6 wheelers, got stuck in the front yard. 4 wheel drive trucks weren't much good either.
