weekend of 2-8

I guess that i have afew reports for this weekend. My father in law fished the Park Rapids tourney this weekend and had the same kind of luck i did every year that I fished it,none. Then he went to Red Lake for the Crappie bite and didn't catch any. Next he headed up to LOW and fished out on Arneson's reef and didn't even catch one. its was sort of a slow weekend for him. I think that he was in around 28 feet. <P>I also had a friend that was out of Adrians on Thursday and Friday and they did pretty well. They kept about 35 walleyes and saugers on Thursday and then another 22 on Friday with a few bigger ones released. He was pretty happy with the size of the fish, not too many small ones.<P>My uncle was at Red Lake on Sunday and he came back with 5 crappies. He said that the numbers don't seem to be there yet but they were some real slabs. I have yet to make it to Red Lake, I'll probably give it another couple weeks unless i hear things have turned on.<P>Heading to LOW Friday evening anyone fish 12 or 16 mile this weekend? How about Zipple. Going portable so I have more options. We have a perm on Arnesons reef but i think that may be heading south to Red Lake.<P>Good luck everyone and we'll catch you later!<BR>
