Got back into town last night after spending a couple days day fishing out of Zippel Bay resort. 1st class operation, didn't stay at cabins but looked nice, great people, helpful, friendly, roads were wide and pretty clean, fishing was so so caught about 30 fish for 2 days but threw almost all the dinks back but did manage to lose a nice 20+ wallygator at the hole on Sat and have enough to bring home for a nice dinner for the wife and kids. Will definately be making this a twice a year trip outta Zippel, now I may have to try the duck hunting outta there.
< )//////>=

A bunch of "us" stayed there 2 years ago and rented one of there log cabins. The cabins are awesome! You'll have a great time and the way it sounds you'll come home with fish. good luck!

Two weeks and counting!!! We stayed in the log cabins two years ago, and they are immaculate! We got one again this year, and can't wait. I have only been up there twice, both times to Zippel, no complaints about anything.
Does anyone have any advice on color/ presentation? In the past it has been gold, gold and more gold. Is this still correct?
Are we there yet???

We had best luck on Blue or Purple with some glow to them. Walleyes were all caught 2ft off bottom using white or glow dead stickin, saugers were caught pounding the bottom. But, that was last weeknd and the way the weather sysytems are coming through, who knows, the guys up there are saying that it's changin dang near everyday
