reports?

My teenager and I have rented a day house from Sportsman's Lodge for next weekend, and I'm looking for any reports. Should I also plan on bringing up my own auger and portable house? Will I need an extension for the auger if I do? What about baits - I have done OK with just fatheads in the past, but is anyone else having luck with shiners, etc.? Any info would be appreciated.

You'll be stylin' in the resort house. I'd want to have some Emerald Shiners with me. If you bring an auger you won't need an extension.<P>Regards....fiskyknut

Emerald shiners, eh? Thanks for the help. I'll take the advice and give a full "accounting" after the trip.

Forget the emerald shiners and try to get some rosey red minnows! They are the same color as gold fish and really show up in the dark water of DaWoods!<BR>They outfished the rest of the minnows 4-1!<BR>I think Vados bait in Blaine has them!<BR>Also use Northland glow/rainbow single hook Forage Minnow.
