How about Elm? does anyone kno if they are catching anything up there, i kinda wanna impress him, he is also my boss, so i don't want to let him down.

You already let him down when you started dating his daughter. You are lucky you are going ice fishing and not hunting. You don't date your boss' daughter, unless you are looking for a different line of work. I am only joking with you, good luck, I hope you get into the fish

How about Gull Rock? Have they been biting out there? or Long Point?

Hey King,
Elm, South Point and everything out of
Springsteel has been real not good so far
this year. There may be some locals on
fish but nobodys saying anything.
If you want to impress this guy take your
pick of these spots and hope for some luck.
Gull Rock area has been pretty good depending
on where you are from day to day. There
are some very good spots that are very
hard to get to now with all the snow. Take
a chance on spots you CAN get to in that
area.
Morris Point has really been a pleasant
suprise this winter. The new owners of
the resort keep the easiest lake access
in great shape and offer the closest,
easiest fishing on the lake right now.
Pay your 5 bucks for the access, go to
the end of the lake road, try to find a
quiet spot and go to work. This has
been pretty consistant from the beginning.
Long Point has been good for many, I havent
been there yet this year but they are helpful
at the resort and will give you some tips
as you pay for your access.
There isnt a place you can go and catch
alot of fish for sure everytime, but there
are several places to catch alot of fish
much of the time cleverly hidden in the
above areas
------------------
Curt Quesnell
NorthCountry Outdoors Radio
