Hi, if your still interested in selling that FL8 - i know someone that's interested (my son) --- how old?, does it work? and how much? --- you may reply to my e-mail address if you like -- [email protected]
thanks

Yeah, my fingers haven't thawed out enough to even type. -33 on sat morning!! Was your bed warm? Did pretty well sat. with around 25 and sun with 3 hrs. of jiggin 17. Found some bigger fish east side of gull, 5-6 over 19. Glow white was the answer on the deadstick and the perch bucky on the jig. We were in 30' and it was a bear gettin there. It's getting really tough to move around with the white stuff. Good thing they didn't get what we did the other day, or you might have to purchase new tires instead of the 18!! No, I don't know of anyone who needs yours' but you missed the deal of the century on fri nite. Alls I'll say is the guy wanted 325 for his 1 year old propack dual trans. 18!!! I don't think I'm going this weekend, but alot can change in a few days, right..

Well it sounded like you found some meat anyways! Who had the 18 for sale? Mine is 3yrs old and works like a charm! There is only one problem, I cant sell it until I get my 18!! $275 I've used it maybe 20 times and caught my limit each time!! Honestly it works great.
Reef, I just got back from Firestone! 2 brand new tires on the back! Nothing is stopping me now!

Hey old man reefer,
I didnt see any reports from last weekend? Did you make it back? I would imagine it was cold as hell but just wanted to hear it from ya! Do you know anyone that is looking for a vex? Does your brother/my cousin have one yet? You know the FL-8 I have with the bag and stuff, i think its called a sportspack. Anywho, the wife is going to let me upgrade so to speak to a Fl-18 for my B-day. But let me know if you know anyone interested....oh by the way, my birthday is this saturday if you wanna buy me a couple buckshots!? YOu heading up this weekend?

I dont know..whats it worth?

I'll give you 150 for it.

I would think you could get 225 at least for it. We sold a guy's from work for that on buy and sell for that and it went quick. His was a couple years old also. It seems to be a little chilly out, eh!!

Posted

It's hard to believe what used vexilars go for. They sell for 279 new.

Posted

I know I spent a little over $300 for it with the sport pack but then again I know its not gold!! I dont know if an 18 would be worth the extra cash or not! Whatcha guys/gals think...is it worth it or not?
Yes reeefer its a little nipply out there this morning! As I was pushing snow this morning at 6:30 the sign at the college read -31 BUT after that it started warming up!!! (first day for the long johns) Us groundskeepers are tough!!

Sorry guys...its sold. I sold it for $130 cash in hand. No, actually I got $245. Thanks for all the offers though.

Fox,
You are a fox! You have to realize Curty is loaded with money and probably could have just gave you the vex if he really wanted to. Curty, I could use a tank if you have any left..hehe

Posted

Hey boener,
Curty's used stuff is all mine!! Just remember that if you want us to put you on BIG fish again on next summer's fishin' trip!!

Posted

I gotta start checking what something is
worth before I sell it.
Glad you can retire off what you got for
your FL-8 Boener.
You will love your FL-18. At first I thought
that Zoom mode was mostly [PoorWordUsage] but it is very
worth the extra dollars. You will soon
wonder how you got along without it.

------------------
Curt Quesnell
NorthCountry Outdoors Radio

Made a quick trip before the weekend rush on Vermilion. Ice was in very good condition. Didn't see any slush or water on any of the roads out from McKinley Park. There are plowed roads on both side of the staked snowmobile trail coming out from the landing. The road to the left goes out toward Birch Island, and there is a spur road going to the left (west) a couple hundred yards out. The road on the right side goes out toward Ely Island. There is a short spur road going east about half mile out. The water came up under my fish house about another 1½ inches when I drilled my holes. Looks like I will be going back up early next week to block my house up higher. The small amount of new snow is really drifting up and adding weight. You may get water on the ice, or find slush if you drill holes in new areas. There is about 15% bare ice where the wind has blown it off. Many of the drifts are very high and hard, so you could get stuck on them. Fishing was average. Best bites were from 9-10am and 11-1230 when I quit. Biggest walleyes was only 16¼", then the next biggest was 13.75". Reporting lengths in quarter inches because I can't seem to find any big walleyes. Good luck fishing, be careful driving around, and be courteous to others.
