Is it worth hauling a uw camera out on lotw
or is the water too stained to see anything

From what I've heard from past postings that it's worthless on the LOW. To murky, I guess you can't see much past the bait. Bring the vex they say.

I used to but it really doesn't do you much good. Over on 5 mile it will work a little better since it is more sandy and shallower but for the most part a camera is not really that great to have. So I leave mine in the truck know. I haven't been overly satified with a camera anyhow other than using it for panfish. Maybe the new OVS 560 will be better I don't know but my aqua vu isn't that helpful. Don't forget the Vex and you will be fine.
------------------
Grip it and Rip it
IFFWalleyes
I Fish For Walleyes
[email protected]

We usually bring ours but it doesn't do us any good other than giving us something to monkey with. If you drop it down the hole you can see the bait on that hole. But, you can't even see the bait on your other line. Plus, I think it may scare the fish away. Have you ever used it on Mille Lacs. I used mine down there one time and I was shocked at how far I could see. I am not exagerating I could see 30 feet. It was awesome. But, on LOW you are better off selling the camera and spending the money on pull tabs.
