We are going with portables this weekend and using a buddys permanent house. <P>I've been reading the stories about getting stuck. What if we brought sleds to pull the otter lodge? <P>The truck is a much better mode of transport though. Any thoughts? <P>It appears to be gettin' nasty.

I'd say that if you're going to haul your sleds and Otter house up that you should use them. I was out there on Sunday and it's at least 18" deep everywhere with drifts up to 2 or even 3 feet in spots. Don't get me wrong, they're roads, but once you get off of them you'll find yourself burried right up to the bottom of the doors. A 4X4 can kind of make it through, but why beat the [PoorWordUsage] out of your truck when you have the perfect set-up with your Otter and snowmobile. My vote is for the sled, good luck and good fishing.<P>Rip'n lips!!
