weather-cold snap?

Coming up this weekend with a group and this cold front moving in has me concerned. How much do you guys think the weather can mess things up? It looks like really cold temps, but it looks like it not going to be above 11 in the next 10 days. Does it seem like a front will slow things down for a day or two? Or longer? How much of this accurate, or is weather just an excuse for us to use when the bite is off? Of course a slow weekend on LOW is better than a weekend just about anywhere else.<P><BR>Chadice<P>

Chadice: Just got back from the Pond and it was definitley cold (-30 windchill Wed.) I personally watch the barometric pressure more than the temps. I've had some awfully good fishing when the temp was below zero. I feel the up and down weather patterns that influence the barometer effect fishing the most. Stability in the weather pattern I feel is really important and lately that hasn't been the case. This is just my nickles worth of theory. Hope you get on the fish and have a good time. Thanks for your response. I am hoping that the front has moved in the last 24 hours and that by the time the weekend roles around this will be more stable. How did you do up there this past week?
