Went out for a few hours this morning.  Only tried for walleye. Caught 1 bass. Guess I should have went for panfish.  At least it was nice out. Water temps around 73. Access was full when I left.

What did you use for bait? What part of the lake?  I use jigs and minnows for my walleye.  I also guide on clearwater.

Looking back I think I was using minnows and crawlers on lindy type rigs or jigs.  Usually fish the east side basin. I used to to well out there, but last 2 years have been rough for me.  Seems like the more updated I get ( electronics, tackle,etc) the worse I get at fishing.  Maybe I’ll go back to a cane poll and dig worms out of the garden like I did when I was a kid.
