Went out for a few hours this morning. Only tried for walleye. Caught 1 bass. Guess I should have went for panfish. At least it was nice out. Water temps around 73. Access was full when I left. -

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is seeking volunteers to help monitor the loon population in Aitkin, Cook, Crow Wing, Itasca and Lake counties. These ads are irritating. I’ve been delayed getting to our island; but health issues with my wife, my mother and my dog ( I hope that’s in the right order) but I hit the lake tomorrow. I’ll fish the next day and I promise temps and any tips ( I’ll be using rainbows) I can offer. RLG -

Riders with an all-terrain vehicle registered for private or agricultural use won’t need to pay the registration fee to ride the state’s public ATV trails June 10-11.
