Driving out to rentals vs. riding in bombadier?

Coming up in a couple of weeks. Do most resorts let you drive your own vehicle out to the day houses or do you have to ride in the bombadier? Would be nice to drive myself so I wouldn't have to follow their schedule of going out and coming in. If not I will bring the sleds.

Call them depends were you are going and the snow. There are several resorts that plow roads and then you drive to their houses. I like resorts that have bombers because then it is there responsiblity to get me off the lake more than once this has paid off. They know the lake better then most of us so I don't have to worry about getting lost and most importantly I don't have to contend with the pressure ridges. I did the bomber thing a couple of times and personally dont like it for a couple of reasons.You generally dont get out till after sun up and they pick you up before sundown and if fishing is slow you are pretty much stuck there.I perfer to get a room and take portables and go out on a road and fish shallower water in the morning and evening and deeper during the day.

Im with Rmh2o. I want to come and go as I please. Even when I have a sleeper I make sure I can drive out and hit shallow early and late. If you have a GPS bring it and mark all your roads and spots on it.
