So I just received my fathers ice shack he built more than 20 years ago. He never got to take it out because of life so it’s been sitting there since rotting away. I’m doing some TLC on it and want to get some wiring done before the inside is done. I’ll have a propane wall heater, that’s easy to do for me. But I don’t know much on how to configure a 12V system. I just want to add a couple lights inside and 3 or 4 outlets, possibly lights outside as well. Nothing crazy but I want to be able to build off of it in the later future. Please give me some criticism or whatever you please. Just want to do it right and safely. Shack is 6’ X 10’.

Check and Double Check ice thickness BEFORE putting your Wheeler and ice House/Portable out. Dec 17 two wheelers went threw 1 1/2 to 2 inches on Ottertail. Area around where units went threw had 7" to 9" ice. A spud bar check would have saved them many $$$ recovery cost. Thanks to Tri-State Diving for recovery.

Hi All,
I have just purchased a cabin in Frazer bay. We are in need of a recommended cabin inspector. Would anyone be able to provide a recommended contact?

Looks like my Canada trip in August may not be able to happen due to uncertainty that boarder will open in time. Our group is tossing around the idea of going up
to lake vermilion instead. I am wondering if anyone has advise on where to stay. I have done some looking around and most resorts rent by the week. Any info would be greatly appreciated

There is an article in the Timberjay asking people to complete a survey that would help bring broadband to the area. I don't know much about this so I'm not promoting anything except for awareness.

The link to the survey is below. Click on the red link that says "Iron Range Broadband Survey":

I’m not even sure if I’m in the right page I just signed up but my question is I just purchased a boat from a private seller went to his home the boat fired up I purchased the boat, the day before I brought it out which was about a week and a half later it fired up brought it to the lake the next day it fired up boated around for about 25 minutes found a spot to fish It was off for about an hour or so went to start it back up and it would not fire back up had to be towed off the lake so the moral of the story is there anyway I can go back and get my money legally without no trouble or what is my next step if the seller does not want to give the money back?

Greetings....I'm searching for an original TUFFY (molded metal, left side or set of 2) TRANSOM CORNER for a rebuild on a 1985 Tuffy Muskie. Several TUFFY boats had these so being specifically from a Marauder may not be necessary. Wondering if anyone can help in locating one from a dealer or private party who may have upgraded to more modern transom corners/caps....maybe a boat that's been abandoned or scraped.
Photo attached of the right-rear that I am trying to set-match to. The right side I have. Need to get a left side cap.
Thanks for any assistance.

Ox yolk is always good for some sunny and crappie action. Pine mountain has produced some good evening walleye catches. Tons of lakes to explore in the area. Some of the best bites won't be found without getting out and drilling lots of holes. -

You don't want to leave any money behind when you die do you? Get an Otter Cabin. Big enough for one guy 2 lines or 2 guys one line each. Enjoy retirement.😊 -

I haven't. Too much snow for me and hidden slush. Been running around the woods instead. I'm not going to put up crowd fishing on Winnie, Red or the other popular lakes. -

Icedog, your on the right path if your looking for lightweight fast moving portables! I had my pack-a-shack for 8ish years and had no issues with at all. I use mine for running and gunning river eyes. They do get very tight if you need a heater and I’d recommend using as short of a rod as possible. They are perfect for if you just want to sight fish on a warm day. Good luck searching! -

I don't need a huge one but bigger than a one man. Used my brother's one man once, just not enough room for me and fishing deep with 2 holes is looking for a diseaster waiting to happen. And I'd really like a zipper door so I don't have to always flip it to get out.
