Crow River - Cats?

I've heard this river has plenty of catfish. I've tried my luck a couple times at the canoe launch but nothing (lots of carp here). Are there any spots that are tried and true? I use a carolina rig with whatever weight I have on hand, circle or octopus hook, usually crawlers but have also tried fresh cut sucker.

There are a few spots around St Michael that offer a mixed bad if cats, smallmouth, walleye and carp/suckers.

@Borch are there any specific spots? I'm looking on google maps and not seeing a lot of obvious access points for shoreline fishing.

Check  out the Three Rivers Park.  Many access points spread out over a few miles of river.  A good spot is near the Berning Mill/Sportsmans Club.
