I'm looking to buy a Ski Doo Skandic snowmachine.
Would prefer the 600 e-tec engine, but will consider any.
2010 or newer.
PM with particulars.
If it would help, I have a 2003 Ski Doo Tundra with the single cylinder engine, for trade, excellent condition.
Heading up to V the first weekend in October. Aside from the casino and The Landing, where can you boat to for lunch?
Fishing Ottertail this past weekend we used my sons boat with a Humminbird Helix 9 Si/Di - Follow the Contour GPS. I also put my Vex SonarPhone one side mount which links to the Boating app. I recorded a track on the boating app with the Humminbird following a 16 ft. contour. As you can see on the Boating App track with Sonar video, ls off a fair distance from the Bird depth track. The boating app is a great tool for planning, searching fishing areas and fair on GPS contours. Both Humminbird and Boating use the Glonass GPS system so no differance between long/lat location.
LakeMaster Vs Navionics Boating HB.mp4
I went on an adventure along the Minnesota river south shoreline, picking up trash and encountering some critters. 😄
With illegal taking of ciscoes for bait, including netting them in Quetico nd smuggling them across the border.
Saw it in mpls trib just now.
Nice little unit that I just removed from a used boat recently bought. Everything seems to look and operate perfectly. Includes graph with mounting bracket, battery cable (fused) and transducer with mount. Buy new elsewhere for $169 or here used for $50. Can ship if you cover the cost.
Here is the mfg description:
The Lowrance Elite-4x Fishfinder, which includes an 83/200 broadband transducer, transmits sonar to track the presence and movement of targets beneath your boat. When you use this device, you’ll know when you’re in the right spot. This innovative fishing aid lets you enjoy your sport with a new level of confidence, even when you venture into new and unfamiliar waters. Its advanced electronics perform well in a wide variety of settings, including lakes, rivers, and marine coastlines. The 4.3-inch LED screen offers an impressive clarity in part because of the built-in noise rejection technology. This specially designed, high-resolution LED color display weighs 3.4 pounds and measures 3.8 by 6.6 by 2.2 inches, making it a compact finder that is perfect for those with kayaks or other small vessels. This design includes all of the features of the HDI Series but with the addition of special sonar technology. This model includes GPS and chart plotting capabilities. It also features a detailed U.S. map with high-definition mapping of more than 3,000 lakes, rivers, and coastal areas down to 1,000 feet. The addition of CHIRP sonar allows you to identify underwater targets more quickly. It also allows you to see targets at higher boat speeds, saving you time. This lightweight and compact finder includes advanced electronics commonly found in larger, more expensive models. The one-thumb operation of the page selector menu gives you fast and easy access to all the fish finder’s features. You’ll save time and get excellent results with Advanced Signal Processing, which reduces the need for manual adjustments. You’ll view the bottom detail, lake structures, and fish that you’re looking for more quickly and precisely. You can also avoid obstacles like submerged branches and rocks thanks to this device. TrackBack technology allows you to go back over the sonar history to check lake structure and fish targets for future reference. The TrackBack feature allows you to save a waypoint, eliminating the need to circle back and retrace your path. This model also supports DownScan imaging. The unit runs on 12-volt DC power. The CHIRP technology operates between 83 kHz and 200 kHz. The DownScan imaging system works with a 455/800 kHz transducer. The Lowrance Elite-4x Fishfinder can be set to a useful range of fishing modes. The Conventional sonar can be kept in General Use Mode or set to modes for fishing in shallow water, deep water, brackish water, fresh water, or clear water. There is also an ice fishing mode. These settings can help you see in water depths ranging from 60 feet to 1,000 feet.

Dr. gave the OK for a weekend fishing next Friday, heading to Ottertail. Using Sons Tracker with Helix 9 SlDl + follow the Lakemaster map contour. Will not only improve ability to find fish along with tracking a specific contour automatically. I’ve always wanted to do a detailed contour compare between Navionics and Lakemaster. I use the Navionics Boating app linked to the Vex SonarPhone on one of two tablets. I can record tracking, depth, speed and how well the track follows the Lakemaster contour. My second tablet I’ll record FishSmart Lakemaster tracking contour which is the exact same Lakermaster map as on my son’s 9 SiDi. This past week I built a ¾” PC pipe side mount height adjustable transducer holder as we didn’t want to drill more holes in Sons boat. I put the Vex SonarPhone in a ammo box with battery or external power. Looking forward to some Fall Fishing.

Need a reliable electrician on the East end.
Been a long time since I spent on a couple years on Big Fork River and then with kayaks.
Can someone give me advice on what stretches if any I can use my V14 Tracker
with 20 horse, though I can go with my trolling motor. Back injury prevents kayaking.
Looks like above Big Fork and a couple areas below Big Falls might work if there is
Thanks for any help. This is back up to 3 Canada trips that got cancelled.

By Muskyhunter73 · PostedHad an amazing fall fishing day on Saturday. Ended up with 25 total walleyes. 26, 25 3/4, 19 3/4, 18, 16, bunch under 16. Also caught 3 crappies. 13 3/4, 13, and 12.5. In the 21 years I’ve fished Vermilion I had never caught a crappie. Attached are some photos.
By Skibo · PostedOut twice last week for a total of about 5 hours on Big Bay and Daisy Bay. Four people fishing and the bite was pretty good. Used jigs/minnows and lindy rigs (my wife prefers the lindy 😬). Jig/minnow was the hot ticket in the holes on reefs and points. The Lindys found a few smaller fish and lots of nice bass along the gravel/mud transition at the bottom of the reefs and along the shoreline points. Biggest walleye was 22" and only two under 13". Most of the fish were perfect for dinner, between 13" and 18". Saw a number of boats pulling wooden minnows and they seemed to be getting the net out occasionally.
By CaptJohnWis · PostedIt is killing me to be stuck down here in Texas when I want to be fishing humps on the Canada side of Rainy for battling Bronzebacks. Late fall has always been my most productive time on Rainy but ain't going anywhere with the Pandemic. All I can do is post some old pictures.
By Wanderer · PostedWe got beat to our primary spot - and nearly every other spot today. More than double the boats on the lake than last year. Tons of shooting for the groups in the prime spots. We were not in a prime spot; except for mosquitoes! Missed several opportunities at teal zooming through while swatting and waving skeeters away. The Battle Coot debuted with a pair retrieved; one lost in the thick rice for me.
By monstermoose78 · PostedWell I dropped two Finn got one and the other took off down the brook. Finn is beat and I am ready for a nap.
By JBMasterAngler · PostedSpent a few days in the Marcell area. Fishing was nonexistent! Fished Turtle, Wabana, Spider, and Caribou lakes. Everyone I talked to at each lake weren’t catching anything either. First 2 days the weather was hot, sunny, and not a hint of breeze...how do you catch fish in lakes that exceed 20 feet in clarity, when the water looks like a sheet of glass? Next 2 days were cold front conditions, gray and gloomy. Didn’t even catch 20 fish total! Still a fun trip though. Fall colors were at their peak. Had nice sleeping weather in the tent. And I accidentally ate pine sap 🤢 might be the worst tasting thing ever!
By Wanderer · PostedWe’ll be out tomorrow morning, about an hour from home. Shoot straight! Follow through!
