I live 5 blocks for Como lake and I have no luck on catching fish does any one have tips.

Used to be full of carp, back in the day.   Try corn or boilies.   Or walk around the lake and see if anyone is fishing.   

 

Carp are fun to catch.

Best tip I can give you...find a different lake to fish! Como is an oversized mud puddle. You might catch a couple fish in the winter when the water doesn’t look like  green slime.

I think if you look at lake finder they put Channel cats in there.
