Fishing Opener | New Pb!

For the 2019 Minnesota Fishing Opener we went out on Lake Vermilion in search of Walleyes. Our first day the fishing was slow with a lot of different tactics and areas tried. We made a change that evening and casted artificials into rocky shorelines with a lot of success. We decided to try that again the next morning when a large surprise inhaled my jerkbait!

Thanks man! I was surprised at how dark the fish was. Haven't caught too many Pike out of Vermilion so maybe that's pretty common.

I’ve found that pretty common. Walleyes, smallmouth, largemouth. All fish in vermilion have different color patterns and different markings that other fish in the state don’t have. A truly special body of water indeed.
