Hey guys, I haven't seen any water temp posts, so I figured I would throw this out there.  I hit the Chain yesterday later afternoon.  And cruised around a bit.  For some reason I only remembered to pay attention to the temp when I put it, but it's something.  Water temp in the river was 56*.  Pretty crazy how fast the temp rises once the ice is off.

I did notice fish right on the drop of the main basin in about 24'.

The weather doesn't look too great this week with the possible rain...again.  But, looks like it could clam down a bit for the weekend.

I took the Ol' Man's boat out yesterday to get it on the lift.  Water temp on the river has risen to almost 59*.

Was on Long Lake portion of chain Wednesday. Surface temp was 65. Really warming up fast. The water, not the bite.

I know of a boat on Long that basically limited out on opener.  3 guys, 18 fish on Saturday.  North side of Long, in about 11 FOW and pulling rigs.

That’s my usual luck. Day late and dollar short. Oh well, rather have day on lake than at work anytime. Already looking forward to my next day off Thursday.  Not sure where I’ll go, but main thing is just to be out on the water. Best therapy I know after weeks worth of work stress.

For Vermilion, the Lowrance lake insight data is identical to Lakemaster, 3 foot contours.

Maybe you should check the various sites that sell mapping stuff?   What is the Lowrance offering?   Is there a different Navionics choice?

Hi everyone, I will be heading to Echo Lake, in the superior national Forest, the middle of June.  Never been there, but the small amount I found on this site says it's a good fishing lake.  Does anyone have past experience on this lake?  I'm targeting walleye mostly, but Pike and crappie are always on my menu.  Are there any lure colors that have worked well for you?  I'm mostly a live bait fisherman.  Any presentations that worked well?  Any advice will be greatly appreciated with this lake, and I will report back how it went/what worked.  Thank you everyone.

I brought a notarized letter from their mother and they required it back when I did it. The other documents prove who he is but not whether the father is spiriting him away.
