Still banging around. 👍
Chainsaws seem to be some of the most finicky motors around. A few years ago I picked up one at a garage sale up by Crosslake, Mn that the guy said I could have for free. (he had a few bucks) He said that he couldn't get it running so he bought a new one. I brought it back to my camper shed and tore the carb off and cleaned it up. I keep a set of welding tip cleaner wires around for this and found the jet hole clogged solid with saw dust bits. The next weekend I was clearing dead falls off my deer trail with it! 😋
Variety, because while they all do basically the same thing, they do differ just slightly as well.
Sometimes you want a subsurface one. Sometimes the shallow diving one. Sometimes the medium diving one and sometimes a deep diving one.
Just retired in December so I'll have a lot more time to fish. In addition to my normal walleye fishing I want to 1) learn to consistently find and catch/release larger sunfish and crappie after they spawn and 2) spend more time targeting bass, largemouth and smallmouth.
I've been a longtime member here (2002) and will be posting more. I added info to my profile and "About me" section.
The one with Duffman did not work out so if anyone else has one that they want to be rid of let me know. I am able to fix stuff (don't ask my wife her opinion) so would take something that might not be in 100% great shape.
