we decided to pickup a 16BF with awning and AC from Roth RV in deerwood, we like the hole layout and the insulated floor. The only thing I need to get used to is the non-wood interior. Plan on using it this weekend!
The axles come with a 5 year warranty as well!!
I fished a couple of hours on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. No wind, blue sky, and warm. Marked a few big fish but overall didn't see many on the graph. Caught one very nice small mouth and a bunch of 6" perch riggin a lindy with a crawler or fathead. Nothing more. Going back up first week in October.
I am going local this weekend. It might be just the dog and me, but that’s okay. We will sit on the brook and blast at the wood ducks. River Rat 316 said he would go but we will see if he shows up. On the brook it’s nice to have two people so one can watch the south and the other can watch the north.
I fished it a fair amount from Lanesboro to Petersen but also just for trout, catching occasional smallies. There are some deeper holes that I’m sure hold them; it’s a pretty decent sized river. I’ve never seen any in the flats when canoeing though like I sometimes see in smaller rivers.
It surely doesn’t surprise me they’re in there. I’d probably drown a crawler or use a jig and minnow along with tossing a Rapala around. Time of day might be your most significant pattern there?
