Opening weekend has passed,  the fish and fishing beat me this go around.

Fished Fish Trap on Sat. with only 1 pike, a rockbass, crayfish, and way to many Zeebs.  Just a quick couple of hours worth of fishing without much searching involved.  Fishing will only get better as temps rise some.

Any others fish the Lincoln area lately?

Fished Shaminea  Lots of pike and bass and 1 eye.

Fished Alexander over the Memorial weekend, did well on 'eyes, not so hot for Croppies, and a few Northern's and Bass to finish it out. 

 Not sure if it's due to the weather, but it sure seemed like there was a lot of junk floating on the water.

The 2 lakes I was on this weekend we noticed the same thing.  Lot of green weeds floating around.

Any depths better for eyes?

With the clear skies and warm weather, deeper breaks dusk and dawn  and into the shallows at night.  Not trying to be elusive, but a depth that worked on day one, wasn't a good depth days 2 or 3.
