For all you guys wondering about the ice here you go.  Just came down 169 and the ice starts about two or three miles N of the old Boat  Harbor,  now Gregorys.  North end looks ice free looking out from Garrision.  However ice sheet goes out of sight E from where the sheet starts. All the major bays on the W side are locked up tight. Its a NE wind so its not moving.  Don't think there is any chance to fish the W side other than up by Garrision.  Don't know if E side is open or not.  Boys it looks tough.!

all the cameras on the east side are open water except agate bay which is stuck on April 28...what a show it will be if a bunch of brave souls hit the water and the wind shifts and moves that sheet of ice!  I can just picture the sheet moving and a line of people trying to trailer their boats as fast as possible!  (I know that is a very unlikely situation but...):D

went by Mille Lacs around noon Sunday and they ice was all on the wsw corners of the lake and then a big line of ice was floating out there too...not much fishing done in those areas!!
