Looking for opinions on which 90hp motor to get for mostly fishing.  Which brand trolls down the best especially for trolling crank baits. Will be on a 18 1/2 foot boat.

Yamaha or Mercury 4 strokes.  Both have options for rpm control which is handy for getting down for slower trolling speeds.

I have used both in recent years in 4-stroke models (75 hp) and I would use both in the future.  I have not had a problem with either one in the past 8 years.
