Goose lake is seeing little activity, but is one of the better evening/night walleye bites in the area. The lake association has controlled it more than the other lakes in the area which is rather sad since public tax dollars are being used to maintain it. I worked with the DNR and Fisheries Department to finally get an access on the north basin and they sent me a certificate of appreciation , just wish they'd put an access on the south basin. May happen soon from what I hear? We can only hope, many locals are piss** at them.

I'm not super familiar with goose.  But I do like the special regs.  Probably a reason why it's a decent fishing lake.

Why are people pissed?  Are you unable to reach south basin from the north basin?  I see a public access on north end.
