So with the impending arctic air heading our way, how negatively do you think its gonna affect the bite? Coming up next Wed-Sun(New Years) and I'm really hoping the bite isn't completely shut down. Came up a few years ago to a stronger cold front then what this will be, and the eyes were completely lethargic...

You will be fine I am a strong believe that the bite never "shuts down"  Move around and find active pods of fish

Well I'm heading up to LOW the day after Xmas and feel confident we'll catch fish. The fish should be used to it by then since it starts getting cold up that way in the next few days. It's supposed to bottom out before I'm up there.

Yeah it looks like the temps will stabilize late in the week. Plan on being mobile, but to an extent. Hopping around in those temps doesn't sound very appealing. Especially when we have a toasty Castle to lounge around in. Lol
