I don't have any real good pics and this floor is for an older Eskimo house I had not the 949I that I use now. I think you'll figure out what I did. I made this same set up for my current house.

I built a socket into the floor. I then built a frame out of round bar. It goes up as you can see in the pic then hangs a 90 and hangs over the hole. I have a couple reels on aluminum brackets I formed to slide over the round bar.

I use a rattle reel with clamp in my 949.

Ditto this for the hub house.  I like that I can hear if a pike grabs my decoy if I’m outside too.

My setup is similar to MJ's and MrKlean's, I have a wood floor with a small hole in it on each side of the spear hole.  I use electrical conduit to make a frame over the hole and hang rattle reels  from it.

Who knows or has parts list for a hillbilly decoy spinner? Battery operated spinner for decoys or spoons or golf balls, etc....

Any response would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Have fished 15 hours the last yesterday and today without catching a walleye. Y store only had crappie minnows and Fuel and Food had no minnows Thursday morning when I came up so I had to fish with the crappie minnows. My fish house neighbor caught 3 walleyess yesterday morning on pike suckers so I went back into town to get some after bait was delivered. Didn't help. I have only caught four 15" tulibee and a 12" perch. Switching to lake trout the rest of the weekend. 34" of ice. Gas sugar barely made it through. McKinley Park landing has a lot of water on the plowed road as you enter the lake. The Ice Castles may have a hard time getting off the lake this weekend. Good luck if you venture out and be careful.

I haven't got mine either.  But I don't intend to fish again until there's open water.  Carry on Bob

Looking like NW Ontario will be closed again this year to US visitors, so it's back to Rainy for us in May. Made a lot of new friends there in Rainer and love the area. We are hoping for better weather than we had in September (less wind), but are excited to see what the spring will bring.  Hope Muskies and others can get us on track for the beginning of our fourth decade fishing up Nort !! In the mean time, enjoy the hard water.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources reminds anglers that the deadline to remove fish houses from Minnesota lakes is coming up. Although the coldest spell of winter occurred just days ago, fish house removal deadlines are set in state statute and not dependent upon seasonal conditions. Minnesota libraries in low-income communities may qualify for a new program that provides free state park permits for these libraries to loan to patrons. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will provide the permits, which library patrons can check out for seven-day periods beginning in June. Discuss below - to view set the hook here.
