Just wondering how much snow cover is on the lake? Can a guy travel around ok with a pickup or should I bring a snowmobile to move around on the big pond

From what I've been told you can get around just fine with a truck. You might be able to access less crowded areas with your sled though because you can cross over heaves.

From what I've been told, off road travel up here(Winnie area) is starting to be a problem.

My son and I were up Wednesday evening and we were able to easily drive around off the plowed roads to where ever we wanted to go so I would say a sled is not required if you're not moving around much.

We just fished the south end in one area, if you are going to travel all over the place I would use a sled, I'm going tomorrow and bringing the sled to travel.

Just a dumb question because i had someone ask me. Does anyone know if a person bought a 2020 license, would it be valid the rest of this season or starting March 1st.

Already had two back surgeries. 2006. 2010. First one went a lot better than second. Narcotics 9 months and terrible withdrawals. That’s why ibuprofen for this trip under the knife. I did the shoulder block. Only way to go for the first day of relief.
