Bigger boats had to be backed out a bit more.

I didn't see many that size using the PA, must've been though as I seen a few trailers for that size boats there. Didn't see many bunk trailers down there at all, ones with rollers seemed to have had better luck. Even the 15-16.5 ' aluminum tillers struggled there from about July on.

hey eyeguy, you didnt happen to meet gunner's buddy at any access did ya? he works for Itasca county doing inspection. he's quite talkative!!!!!!! figure an extra half hour to get on and off the lake.:D:grin:

on a side note......a co-worker and and one of my nordern minnysoda informants told me his neighbor has been out 2 miles on bowstring for the past week with a wheeler!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went over to the Bowstring Store for our usual Sunday paper yday & stopped by the Co Rd 35 PA on the way home. Counted a dozen plus outfits out there with a bunch down close to the south side. The PA looked good as the pressure ridge that's always there wasn't as bad as normal. The PA over on the NW looked much better but there,s not much parking over there. Don't ever get around to the 1 on the south side. Tim at the store said that with the extended cold weather & high pressure(~2 weeks straight near New Years) that the reports he'd been hearing hadn't been very good. I think smurfy might have been over there this weekend, he might have some 1st hand info
