Looking at heading up the weekend or the 27th. Lookingfor 2 man sleeper. Any recommendations. Ive noticed that only a couple outfitters have 2 man houses. Any reviews of Up North rentals or portivilla.

Thanks DAL

Up North Rentals is great and Jason is a good guy.

I would look into finding something as soon as you can I am guessing everyone is pretty booked.

Another option to look at is Johns fish house rentals. John and Ann run Beacon Harbor resort and they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Not to mention you will most likely be less crowded at Beacon Harbor and the fishing is great.

  • 4 weeks later...

Just back from Friday to Monday trip. I wish we would have heard about the Ice Castle event (icog)going on we would have rescheduled, it was quite a site to see though. 400+ castles all in one area. Rental place just piled all their houses in one spot. We ended up in a middle one with 3 or 4 to each side 12 or 13 fow. We had zero action all weekend. Finally landed one about 10pm Sunday night and one raddle wheel missed. Next time we will bring portables as we knew the way they set the rentals up we would never get moved.
