16 mile

Does anyone know how much ice there is at 16 mile? We are comming up in 2 weeks and were woundering if we will be able to drive out. Thanks

There was 15 inches and trucks on Jan 1.<P>I don't know if there is a road or not though.

i was at 16 mile on monday and there is a ton of ice out there i am guessing almost 17 inches <BR>i fished it a few times this year and it was the best before christmas <BR>the locals have a trail that extends off bablers road right now <BR>i think it is about time babler gets going on his road out there <BR>there is plenty of ice and it is kinda dangerous at night not having a good road to get back in<BR>we couldnt find the path when we headed in so we hit it across the lake with no path all the way to bablers road and it was not fun at all<BR>especially when you are low on gas and it is 55 below zero<BR>fishing wasnt very good out there either <BR>we caught 20 saugers between the two of us and around 30 jumbos and too many eel pout<BR>
