I think that a good addition to this folding anchor is to first tie your rope to the bottom, then bring rope to the top and fasten with a couple of zip ties. if you get hungup, you simple pull hard enough to break zip ties and then you are free.

Sure is! I've done that on both of my 1.5lb anchors. Never had to use it but is a lifesaver if I ever need to.

actually, I have never deployed my folding anchor because I fish still water mostly that is full of brush and timber, but I am ready! 4-5# window sash weight does 90% of my anchor duties.
