Honestly folks aren't really driving out on many lakes and those that are.....well I wouldn't be yet.  Depends on where on Gull, but have heard anywhere from 6-10"

If you go on Walleyedan's facebook page he is giving daily updates on ice thickness on Gull leading up to the tourney on the 23rd.  Today's report is he found any where from 7 1/2" to 13 1/2" of ice on the north end of Gull.

Hey pegleg I thought our deer hunting party finished your off a couple years back or you got hit by a car after the season I couldn't remember? Anyways I guess we were mistaken. Good to hear from you again!

Well as the above post reads

Feb 6th

I stopped by the hwy landing yesterday ,I saw some small car left the landing and drove

out kinda out around from polmans point headed down towards Squaw point

He must have made it I havnt heard of any one going threw ,there were a half dozen portables I think way out 

close to the rock pile didn't look like any vehilces out there though
