Anyone get out for opener? 

 

I'm headed to Fergus Falls this weekend and might drop south in the mornings to pheasant hunt.  I know areas a couple hours south, but nothing in-between.  Anyone have recommendations on a general area within an hour or so of Fergus where there are birds?

All I can tell you is that the son in law has all the beans out and a lot of the corn near Appleton.  I suspect many are doing about as well with the harvest.  Good luck and be sure to give the dogs plenty of water.

We were in Morris over the weekend. In 2 days, we managed to put up a total of 12 birds (hens and roosters). We managed to get 2. Pretty slow.
