Hey guys, I'm looking for a few pointers. I've never fished the Ely area before, and I'm looking for a lake with a good lake trout and walleye population.

It will be a solo trip with a motorized boat that needs an improved boat landing. Also either boat in or drive to tents sites on or near the water.

Looking to get away and recharge the batteries :)

 

I seems like the perfect area to do so, but I don't have a clue where to even begin? Burntside?

Burntside or Snowbank are good choices.Check on Ojibway lake.
