We made it up to the lake around 2:30 on 1/1 we fished unitl around midnight that night and we hardly could catch a fish. Then we had to make the drive to I falls to sleep (it was the closest place we could find). The fishing on the snow filled friday was not much better we were trying every thing from a swidish pimple to a buck shot rattler to just a plain hook. Any fish that we did catch was around 11 in. Saturady was even worse. All we caught was one fish saturady. Our weekend total was 16 fish and we really had to work for them and only 3 of the 16 we kept. I am wondering if anyone had any luck on any of those day and if you did how were you catchin them and in how deep of water. We tried 18, 24, 28, and 31 with no luck at any depth.<P>Thanks for Tips

My wife and I went out of Adrians road Friday and fished in 24 feet. It was a tough bite, I think we iced 8 fish in 4 hours during the snowstorm. Saturday we met some freinds and fished out of an Adrians house in 32 feet. Absolutely nothing for 5 people all day long. We saw fish on the vex but they would not bite on anything. I changed jigs about 5 times gradually downsizing to nothing but a plain hook and minnow. After some of the trips I've had up there this was really a reality check. BTW, I will never complain about a $5 road fee again. those guys worked hard to keep the road open Saturday.

Usually it's me saying how much I struggled while others say they did well. We didn't catch many on Sat, but a couple were bigguns. Sun had more fish, but eater size and smaller. Sell below for details, I reported it elsewhere.<P>I fished a full day Sat and a half day Sun with my wife, my mother-in-law, and my sister-in-law. We only caught a dozen or so fish on Sat- very tough going. Fished in 30.5 feet out on Adrian's road. I did manage to catch a 25.5 and a 29.25 tough- very fun. I wish one of the gals would have latched into those fish, but I guess God smiled on me for taking the gals out.<BR>We did better on Sun, numbers wise. Kept 14 and put back a dozen or so smaller ones. Nothing big, but nice eaters.<BR>Scoot <P>
