Sand lake

Hello, getting ready for the anual trip up to Sand next week. Any reports would be greatly appreciatted. Did all the hammer handles grow?

Fishing is slow as there has been a mayfly hatch going on for about a week.Just before that it was a series of storms fronts for much of that week.We came up the week of 6/15 & the fishing wasn't too bad then as I was getting some eyes rigging leeches & crawlers in 14-22 fow.I haven't seen a keeper in almost 2 weeks,not many hammerhandles either.We have a place on the lake on the south end.Where are you staying?

Good news,no Mayflies this morning.I caught a couple 13-14" eyes today so it's coming back.The weather been pretty nice too,but bring your bug spray.If you see a green Crestliner FH with a Yamaha & only 1 or 2 guys on the lake,stop over & say HI.
