Heading up to Orr to fish Pelican next week for bass.  Never fished this lake before but have heard and seen some nice videos about bass fishing here.

Not looking for specific spots, but could anyone help me out with some general areas to try this time of year.  Area of lake, depth, lure choices, etc

Any help would be appreciated.

Most of the lake is pretty shallow, so you could honestly drift all across the middle of the lake and have plenty of weeds to work over. There's lot's of rock structure scattered in-between the islands as well. It's a very scenic lake! I fished it for the 1st time last september, and will be making it my annual september trip from now on ;)
