Fished out of the Duluth entry on May 15th and 16th. On Friday the fishable water was closer to the state line in the stained water. We went 6 for 10 all lake trout on thesurface. Pink and red were the hot colors on the sticks. The fish were in a very small area that we kept working through. Saturday the fog was thick and we started fishing halfway down the beach in the muddy water. The mud line moved a longfrom Friday. We were fishing over 70 to 90 fow with all the fish but one comingoff the surface. We 9 for 12 with 2 coho and 7 lakers. All colors worked well and we got one off a dipsy with a flasher.

I will add pictures later tonight.

Glad to hear that someone made it out. I trusted the forecast that it would be windy and stayed home and got things done around the house.  Still mad that I trusted NOAA

It will be interesting to see what the lake looks like when Modis can finally get a clear shot and see just where the mud is now.

Nice looking lakers Chris.  Have the surface temps gone up or are they still upper 30's lower 40"s?

Jim, NOAA is like an unfaithful woman.  Never trust her:angry:  BC

The warm was 43 degrees and that's where the fish were. The colder was in the uppe 30's.

We were fishing the heavy NE wind 2 weekends ago and didn't even notice the waves built up until we were taking a beam sea on the corner while trolling. I can run 22knots into 5 to 6 foot waves no problem.
